How the Grant County Court Calendar Works
The Indiana Trial Court Calendars site reaches back seven days. It reaches forward four weeks for participating Grant County courts. You can search by county alone or add a court, a date, or case-number and name text. Results focus on hearings. Events that sit only in the Chronological Case Summary will not appear.
Participation has limits. The Grant County list includes Circuit, Superior 2, and Superior 3. It does not include Superior 1. A missing court is not proof that no hearing exists. Results can also stop at 100 rows. Narrow the court, date, or text when the list gets long.
Each row can show the session date and start and end time. It can also show the court name, case number, public caption, setting, judicial officer, location, city, court phone, and refresh data. Juvenile rows may hide a caption or public link. Those blank fields are access controls, not errors to fill in by guesswork. Let the visible court and case data guide your next official channel. The official calendar interface displays these controls.
Its limited window and court list explain why another channel may be needed.
Grant Calendar Window and Limits
The calendar window is narrow by design. MyCase carries a fuller case history and may show settings outside that window. An empty results screen never means a date was cancelled.
Check the date range and court filter first, then search Indiana MyCase. The two tools can disagree. Read the latest CCS event or order when that happens. Then call the court it names.
Two tools, two jobs. The calendar finds near-term settings; MyCase supplies case events and available documents.
Grant County Calendar Search Text
The text box takes case-number or name text, with a 75-character limit. A case number is the stronger key, since captions can be shortened or withheld. When a broad name pulls up too many hearings, add the known court and exact date. A case link may be public. Open it and compare the next setting against later CCS entries.
Hit Reset before a new search so an old court filter does not linger. Day navigation helps with dates just before or after your selected day. For a hearing past the four-week window, go straight to MyCase. You can also call the court. Do not force an invalid date into the calendar.
Grant County Court Date Lookups
Use the case number when you can. Beyond the state calendar and MyCase, access channels include direct court lines, the Clerk, the courthouse counter, separate city offices, and counsel for a represented party. The county posts no public kiosk or printed daily calendar.
- Choose Grant County and a listed court, enter the date, and add case-number or name text.
- Open the linked case or MyCase and read the newest CCS setting and any later order.
- Call Circuit at (765) 664-5527, Superior 1 at (765) 664-9532, Superior 2 at (765) 662-1719, or Superior 3 at (765) 668-8123 when needed.
- Call the Clerk at (765) 668-8121 or visit 101 E. 4th Street in Marion for records or an unclear assignment.
- Contact counsel if represented, or the separate Marion or Gas City Court for a city case.
Superior 1 Calendar Gap
Grant Superior Court 1 does not appear on the participating list. That absence is not a closed day and not a cancellation. Search MyCase, inspect the newest setting, and call Superior 1 directly. The official available-courts response documents which courts participate online.

It does not describe all Grant County hearing work.
Court Settings: What Each Field Means
A row on the Grant County court calendar gives context, not an outcome. Read the full row and compare it with MyCase.
| Date and time | The scheduled session and time window, when supplied. |
|---|---|
| Courtroom | The physical or telephonic location published by the court. |
| Judge | The judge or magistrate linked with the setting, where supplied. |
| Setting Type | The event stage, such as Initial Hearing, Review, Pretrial, Sentencing, or Jury Trial. |
| Case Number | The Indiana identifier used to find the MyCase summary. |
Grant Court Setting Labels
Live Grant County labels name a planned event, never a legal result. A later order or disposition states what actually happened.
- Initial Hearing
- An early appearance label.
- Pretrial Conference
- A setting for preparation or scheduling.
- Review Hearing
- A later status check, not a final outcome.
- Change of Plea
- A plea-stage setting.
Other labels include Fact Finding, Small Claims Collection, Sentencing, and Jury Trial. The official redacted response shows the result fields.

The display supports a date check, while the Clerk holds the official record.
When a Grant County Court Date Moves
A reset or continuance moves a setting. It does not dismiss the case or decide any issue. The new date may surface in a later CCS event or order. Meanwhile the old row drops outside the calendar window.
The tools can differ. Write down the newest event, the court, the setting type, and the place. Then call the court to confirm the current schedule. Never skip an appearance just because an online row vanished.
Marion and Gas City Dates
Marion and Gas City keep their own schedules. MyCase groups their Odyssey records under Grant. Marion holds arraignment or pretrial sessions on Monday and Thursday. Trials sit on Thursday, and ordinance trials run twice a month. Confirm at (765) 668-4425.
Gas City schedules initial hearings on Tuesday and trial or sentencing sessions on Wednesday. Its official pages disagree on the Wednesday time. One lists 2:00 p.m.; another lists 2:30 p.m. Call (765) 677-3081 and rely on your ticket or court notice.
Grant Court Phone Fields
A calendar result may list a court phone, city, room, and a refresh marker. The phone gives you a confirmation channel. The refresh field only reports an application update. It does not promise that a later order has loaded.
Jurors follow a separate local instruction. Call the Friday before a Monday trial. Use the after-hours recording when told to. That jury call never replaces a party's case notice or direct court instruction.
Grant Courthouse Calendar Access
Want to see the Grant County court docket in person? Indiana Administrative Rule 9 gives the public access to court records at the courthouse during regular hours. It also calls for daily calendars or dockets. The Clerk and the county's four trial courts all sit inside the Marion courthouse. Head to the first floor for the Clerk's office. Security screening applies at the door, and current local rules restrict cameras and recording devices.
Before you go, get ready. Gather the full case or citation number, the court code, the rough year, and the exact date you need checked. Ask at the counter which court controls the setting before walking into any courtroom. A docket search in person can fill a gap that online publication leaves open. Staff will not read legal consequences into an entry for you. They also cannot tell you whether to seek a continuance. For that kind of question, a lawyer is the right stop.
Missed Settings and What Comes Next
Missed a court date in Grant County? Call the court that holds the case right away. Have the case or citation number ready. Also note the missed date and the type of setting it was. You can also check MyCase for a newly listed hearing or event. Just remember that a new online entry does not by itself fix the missed appearance.
Missed a setting? A missed date can bring a failure-to-appear response or other case consequences.
Call the named Grant County court or city court promptly and ask how to confirm the current status.
Seek advice from a licensed attorney about the proper response before acting in the case.
